JAKE OWEN LOVING HIS TIME ON THE ROAD WITH KENNY CHESNEY

Jake Owen is soaking up every minute he has on Kenny Chesney’s Big Revival tour.  And though he’s been on the road with Kenny in the past, he’s still in awe of his superstar buddy.

"I'm so thankful that I"ll be able to tell my kids and my friends and family for the rest of my life that I really got to spend some quality time with a guy who will go down in country music history as one of the greatest entertainers ever."

Luke Bryan On Dealing With a Teenager In The House

Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline are kept pretty busy now that they’ve got three kids in the house. As we told you before, Luke took in his 13-year-old nephew Til back in November after his brother-in-law unexpectedly passed, which means he’s living in quite a full house.

Luke says his wife is constantly shuffling the kids off to baseball, and adds that while it’s a bit easier to “control” his seven year-old Bo, and son Tatum’s only four, dealing with a teenager is something completely new to him. "You're not fooling a 13-year-old," he told Ellen DeGeneres. "But we love it. We feel honored that we are so blessed to take him in."

And that’s not the only new responsibility Luke is taking on. He notes, “(Til) has two older sisters, too, so now I'm kind of like, we gotta do the whole 'scare whoever, the boys that they are talking to.' I have to play that role, too."

Brad Paisley Says He Flipped Out

Brad Paisley is used to being a headliner, but that didn’t stop him from jumping at the chance to open for the Rolling Stones. As we told you yesterday, Brad will open the Stones’ June 17th concert in Nashville, and he was so excited by the offer that when the promoter asked him if he wanted to do it he replied, “How much do I have to pay you?"

"I flipped out," Brad told “Rolling Stone Country.” "It was really cool. I know some of the other openers they're getting in other cities, and it's a really eclectic mix. It shows you the power of this band ... they have headliners opening for them."

It’s been a long time since Brad’s had to open for someone, and this time he thinks it will be especially challenging, but he certainly sounds up for it. "When you're at one at my concerts, I'm 100 percent sure that everybody there knows they are coming to see me," he said. "That's a different audience than one where a percentage of that crowd is going to be PO'd that they have to sit through me. That's fun. That's a challenge."

Darius Rucker celebrated his 49th birthday last week…and he did in a really cool way.  He announced that he will be giving away 11 new homes to veterans during his Southern Style tour this summer.  And the giving started right then and there.  He gifted Specialist Daniel Branham during his appearance on The Today Show.  One down…10 more to go.

Call Florida Georgia Line What You Want

Florida Georgia Line says…call them Bro Country if you want.  They really don’t care.  For them, it's all about the fans.  So you can call them anything you want.  But all they really care about is that the fans continue to buy the albums and show up at the concerts because they like what they're hearing.  You can't really argue that point, can ya?

I’ve got some new details on Tyler Farr’s engagement to Hannah Freeman.  The singer arranged special access to Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on Sunday so he could pop the question by the stained-glass windows.  Tyler and Hannah, who have been dating for two-and-a-half years, announced their engagement via Instagram.  Hannah is from Florence, South Carolina.

Zac Brown Loses Voice

Zac Brown apparently had a little too much fun at the opening night of his Jekyll + Hyde tour on Friday night. He had to cancel the show on Saturday in Indiana because he’s lost his voice!  So far, ZBB’s Thursday night show in Raleigh, North Carolina is still on the schedule, as are his two shows this weekend in Atlanta.

Kenny Chesney Working On New Album, Partners Up

Kenny Chesney has been working on a new album with one of his favorite songwriters, David Lee Murphy.  Kenny says the album will be titled No Zip Code and it’ll have both country and rock and roll influences.  David Lee wrote Kenny’s “Pirate Flag”, “Living in Fast Forward” and “Til It’s Gone”.  He also had a couple of huge hits of his own with “Party Crowd” and “Dust on the Bottle” back in the mid-90’s.  There’s no word yet on a release date.

Maddie and Tae are young but not dumb!

They may be young, but Maddie and Tae aren’t dumb!  That’s why when they got the invite to hit the road with Dierks Bentley on his Sounds of Summer Tour, it took them about half a second to say yes! The tour kicks off June 5th in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In fact, the invitation came while they were at last year’s CMA Awards. Apparently, their manager was chatting with Dierks casually, and the rest is history. The girls are excited to spend their summer with Dierks because Tae says she and Maddie love everything about him!

The 40-city Sounds of Summer tour will kick off on June 5th in Raleigh, North Carolina, which is just three days after Maddie & Tae will release their debut album, “Start Here.”

Eric Church Say 'No' to Stadiums

Even though Eric Church will be playing select dates on Kenny Chesney’s The Big Revival Tour, he makes it very clear…he’s not a stadium guy.

While he'll never turn down the chance to play with Kenny Chesney (even if it's a stadium)...he doesn't really want to focus on getting that big.

Eric really likes the intimate setting when he plays shows.  He spent the last year trying to make all of the arenas he played as intimate as possible.  He did that by putting seats on the stage and around the stage.  That intimacy reminds him of playing bars and small venues.  That's the vibe he likes.
