Congrats to Eric Church and his Wife!


Congratulations to Eric Church and his wife Katherine who welcomed their second child, Tennessee Hawkins Church, into the world. Hawk -- as he'll be known -- checked in on last Sunday weighing six pounds and 12 ounces. Eric says, “I'm thrilled that Hawk and his mom are doing well. We aren't sleeping very much, but we are enjoying every part of this incredible journey.  I'm very blessed and thankful.” The Churches have an older son, Boone McCoy, who is three-years-old.

Brad Paisley wants to raise $1 Million by St. Pat's Day


Brad Paisley has teamed up with Guinness USA to design a series of T-shirts to benefit the Leary Firefighters Foundation. The goal is to raise $1 million by St. Patrick's Day to help those who put their lives on the line to save others. Brad says, “My father was a volunteer firefighter and showed me at an early age the sacrifices made every day by firefighters and how important what they do is to their communities." The shirts will be sold in some bars and are available online at GuinnessGivesBack.com

Jason Aldean's Concert for the Cure plus free downloads!


Jason Aldean has announced the details for his 10th Annual Concert for the Cure.  It’ll take place on October 24th at the West Palm Beach stop of his Burn It Down Tour.  A portion of the show’s revenue will be donated to the South Florida chapter of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.  Jason plans to honor two breast cancer survivors at each of his shows this year.  Nominations can be made on the Susan G. Komen website.  AND…he’s offering his Old Boots, New Dirt album for free download at Google Play this week.  He’ll also add $1 for every download to this year’s Concert for the Cure.

Zac Brown Band coming to your local grocer!

Zac Brown Band is hoping to release its own line of products in grocer stores to help fund Camp Southern Ground.  The band shares their recipes during their pre-concert eat and greets and in Zac’s cookbook, and they have some cooking products available on their website, but their bigger goal is to release food items to the general public following in the footsteps of Newman’s Own.  No info yet on when products may be hitting store shelves.

Florida-Georgia Line to perform at Indy 500

Florida Georgia Line will headline the second annual Legends Day concert presented by Firestone on May 23rd at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the day before the 99th Running of the Indianapolis 500.  Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard will also perform.

Tim and Faith Grammy Nominated

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill are up for a Grammy Award for Best Country Duo or Group Performance with their song “Meanwhile Back at Mama’s”…and Tim couldn’t be prouder.  He's loving the fact that a song like that had a place in the country music genre.  The Grammy Awards will be handed out this Sunday at 8 PM Eastern on CBS.
