Eric Church will be busy the week of the Grammy's!


Eric Church is set to perform at the Grammy’s on February 8th and he’s nominated in every country category.  Pretty exciting stuff…but…it’s a little stressful for him too because his wife Katherine is due to deliver their second child the week after the Grammy’s…and she’s determined to go to the show in Los Angeles.  Eric is working on flying her out just for the day.  With such a full Grammy schedule, the last thing he needs to worry about is his wife going into labor in L.A., but if she goes into labor in Nashville while he’s in L.A….that’s bad too.  If she goes into labor on Grammy night, Eric says it’s going to be an interesting night for all of us.

Atlanta MegaTicket Announced

The MegaTicket for 2015 has been announced with three powerhouse shows lined up. The ticket includes Lady Antebellum (with Sam Hunt opening), Toby Keith, and then Florida Georgia Line. The Bull is giving away tickets every hour today, too, at 35 after up to 6:35!

Luke Bryan Leads Pack with Top Country Tour


Country tours raked in some serious bucks in 2014 and the end-of-the-year numbers are in.  Luke Bryan had the biggest country haul, earning $68.2 million from 72 shows in 59 cities.  George Strait is in 2nd place earning $61.8 million from 26 shows in 26 cities.  Jason Aldean is in 3rd.  Garth Brooks at 4th.  And Zac Brown Band landed in the #5 spot.  The numbers take only ticket sales into consideration.

Florida Georgia Line Extends Tour


Although their 2015 Anything Goes Tour just kicked off last week, Florida Georgia Line is announcing that they’re extending the trek through the fall.  Thomas Rhett and Frankie Ballard will join Brian and Tyler as special guests throughout the tour, which now includes stops in New York, California and Atlanta,

Grammy Nominee Album Includes Country Stars


The 2015 GRAMMY Nominees album includes lots of country music!  The album, set to land in stores a week from today includes songs from Keith Urban, The Band Perry, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood and Miranda Lambert and Little Big Town.

Jason Aldean Tops Charts, Winners at People's Choice Country Awards

Jason Aldean’s Old Boots, New Dirt is back on top of the country album chart this week.  Luke Bryan’s Crash My Party took a big leap from five to #2.  Carrie Underwood’s Greatest Hits: Decade #1 is holding steady at #3.  Sam Hunt’s Montevallo takes the fourth position, up from seventh.  And Garth Brooks, who held the top spot for several weeks with Man Against Machine, falls to #5 on the chart.

Country winners from this week’s People’s Choice Awards included Carrie Underwood for Favorite Female.  Hunter Hayes took home Favorite Male and Lady Antebellum won for Favorite Group.  The Voice featuring coach Blake Shelton won Favorite Competition Show.

Maddie and Tae make "Ones To Watch" List


Maddie and Tae is the only country act to make it onto Billboard’s 10 Artists to Watch in 2015.  The girls broke out with “Girl in a Country Song” and hopes they are furthering the cause for more women in country music.  Maddie and Tae plan on releasing a full-length album in 2015.
